HOW TO MAKE BAKED PORK WITH POTATOES

Step 1: In a glass bowl, season the meat with 1 teaspoon salt, unpeeled crushed garlic, bay leaf, sweet red pepper paste and white wine. Step 2: Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF).

TIPS FOR BAKED PORK WITH POTATOES

1. If the pork and the potatoes start to brown too much cover with aluminum foil or reduce the oven temperature.

2. We usually bake the pork and the potatoes at 180ºC (350ºF) but, if you lower the temperature to 150ºC (300ºF), despite taking longer to bake, it has the advantage of enhancing the flavors much more and the meat gets more tender.

3. If you have leftovers, store the pork and the potatoes in the fridge in an airtight container (to prevent the growth of microorganisms). To avoid drying out the meat, do not reheat the food in the oven, reheat it in the microwave.

    • 800 grams (1 3/4 pounds) pork loin cut into cubes
    • 800 grams (1 3/4 pounds) small potatoes
    • 100 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil
    • 150 ml (2/3 cup) white wine
    • 2 bay leaves
    • 1 tablespoon sweet red pepper paste
    • 8 cloves of garlic
    • Parsley (to taste)
    • 2 teaspoons salt

    Directions
