If you have a hankering for something sweet, you can whip up these easy air fryer blondies in about half an hour and they taste incredible.
You’ll need only simple ingredients: butter, sugar, vanilla, egg, flour, baking powder and white chocolate chips.
And making the batter is as simple as stirring the ingredients together one after the other.
You’ll melt the butter, stir in the sugar, then the eggs and vanilla, next the flour and the baking powder, and finally the chocolate chips.
You’ll then pour your batter into a greased tin that fits into your air fryer and bake for 26 minutes until you have a gooey, white chocolate chip studded, cookie dough like centre, with crisp edges and shiny, crinkly top.
Read on for the full recipe with detailed instructions and a helpful photograph for every step. And if you have any questions, just leave me a comment. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 80 g (2.8 oz) salted butter
- 120 g (4.2 oz) soft light brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp (0.5 tsp) vanilla extract
- 1 medium free range eggs room temperature
- 90 g (3.2 oz) plain white flour all purpose flour
- 1/8 tsp (0.1 tsp) baking powder
- 100 g (3.5 oz) white chocolate chips
INSTRUCTIONS
Grease your baking tin.
Cube the butter into a bowl and melt in the microwave or on the hob over a pan of water until just melted. Allow to cool until tepid but still liquid. Add the soft brown sugar.
Mix through.
Add the eggs and vanilla.
Gently stir together with your whisk.
Add the flour and baking powder.
Mix together until smooth – the batter may be quite liquid if the butter was warm, but that’s fine.
Add the chocolate chips.
Stir through.
Spoon the batter into your greased baking tin.
Set your air fryer to 140C/285F and bake for 26 minutes.
Place on a wire rack to cool and then cover and place in the fridge to chill for a couple of hours, or in the freezer for about an hour.
Once chilled, cut into 16 pieces (4 x 4) and enjoy.
